Jessa Tumposky has worked for more than 10 years in the nonprofit sector, with arts, education and healthcare organizations, providing professional consulting services in the areas of grant writing and grants management, project management, education and outreach, marketing communications, including social media and web content development. She has also served as a board member and volunteer with nonprofits.
Jessa appreciates consulting with nonprofits because she understands the challenges of working in this sector, and loves to support the empowered growth of people and organizations. She also continues to enjoy theatre, dance, reiki, tea blending, and birth doula work.
She grew up in Montclair, NJ and attended the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University, where she studied language, anthropology and performing arts. After a brief stint in public school teaching, she realized that she could continue pursuing the passions behind her very liberal arts education by working with nonprofits.
