This Brown Bag Lunch training focus on the informational nature of the 990, and the importance of board and executive review of particular portions of the return before signing. The numbers are one part, but there is quite a bit of information on the 990 that is important for the submitting organization to confirm, as your CPA or other preparer will not necessarily have all the answers. We will also talk about the usefulness of the 990 for various outside parties, and how to help make yours more useful! On the numbers side, Eagle will go over ways to help organize your internal financial information so that your tax preparer can make your 990 as accurate and reflective of the good work that you do as possible
